Rumble Rumble Rumble
Dense lightning engulfed the entire Arlong Park, sealing off all escape routes for the Fish-men as it launched indiscriminate area-of-effect strikes.
"Captain, save me!!!"
"Damn it, run!!!"
Under Nami's control, the silver-white lightning darted and weaved like poisonous snakes.
Reaping the lives of Fish-man after Fish-man.
Screams of anguish and misery resounded throughout the sky above the park.
The massive commotion drew the attention of the villagers in Cocos Village.
When they saw this horrifying scene, they all widened their eyes, their pupils filled with disbelief.
That person is... Nami?!
At this moment, Arlong Park had completely become a burial ground for the Fish-men.
In just a short while, over half of the Fish-men had died beneath the lightning.
Before the lightning, like a natural disaster, these Fish-men had no power to resist.
"Not enough, not enough!!!" Nami's eyes were filled with indifference, ignoring the drain as she intensified the lightning output.
Rumble rumble
Rumble rumble
Lightning as thick as a bowl mouth fell fiercely, and the buildings in Arlong Park collapsed one after another, kicking up clouds of smoke and dust.
The remaining Fish-men could no longer muster the will to resist and began to flee in panic, clutching their heads.
Some unlucky guys were directly crushed into fish-meat patties by the collapsing structures.
"It looks like Nami is really angry."
On the Merry, Kaya and Makino watched the scene below, secretly stunned.
This was the first time they had seen Nami so violent and ruthless.
"Let Nami vent it all out."
Reno understood Nami's feelings at this moment perfectly.
Eight years of resentment—let it all be released today.
Under the relentless bombardment of lightning, Arlong Park was reduced to rubble.
Curious villagers, drawn by the noise, gathered at the entrance of Arlong Park.
Nami's face was flushed, and she was panting slightly.
A few minutes later, the lightning abruptly stopped, the sound subsided, and the ground turned a charred black.
"Arlong, get the hell out here!!!"
Most of Nami's attention was fixed on Arlong; she knew he wasn't dead.
"Cough, cough"
From a pile of rubble somewhere came the sound of coughing.
"Nami!!!!"
A voice filled with hatred, as if from hell itself, rang out.
The next second, Arlong shoved aside the debris pressing down on him and crawled out in a sorry state.
His eyes were bloodshot, and half of his saw-like nose was broken off.
Under the continuous lightning bombardment, Arlong had barely survived, but he was severely wounded.
"Heh heh, Arlong, you really have a tenacious will to live."
"Your partners are all dead, and only you made it out."
Nami's mocking voice came through.
Arlong breathed heavily as the smoke and dust cleared, and he looked towards the ruins before him.
All of his Fish-man partners were dead.
Most had died under the lightning, and a small portion had been crushed by the collapsing buildings.
Even Hachi in the pool hadn't escaped his fate.
Now, only he remained, barely clinging to life.
"Nami!!!"
"You deserve to die!!!"
Arlong let out a roar, his eyes nearly splitting with rage, the howl resounding through the sky.
Nami walked expressionlessly toward Arlong, a hint of mockery curling at the corner of her mouth as she sneered.
"Arlong, the pain you've suffered is nothing compared to mine!!!"
"Lightning Spear!!!"
A spear of condensed, high-density lightning slowly took shape, its tip aimed straight at Arlong.
"Nami, I'll kill you!!!!"
Knowing there was no escape, Arlong let out a roar and charged at Nami with final desperation.
A cruel cold smile spread across Nami's face as she hurled the Lightning Spear without mercy.
It tore through the air with a sharp whistle, piercing Arlong's body in an instant.
Lightning Power surged into him, savagely destroying his bodily functions.
Completely spent, Arlong could no longer hold on and collapsed heavily into a pool of blood.
He twitched all over, clinging to life by a thread.
Nami stepped forward slowly, looking down at Arlong from above.
Like a Lightning Queen gazing upon an ant.
"Arlong, look at you now—pitiful and pathetic."
Arlong couldn't speak anymore, but his eyes still fixed on Nami with venomous hatred.
"Down below, repent to my foster mother and to everyone you've killed."
Nami extended her hand, and the terrifying Lightning Power erupted once more.
With a bang, Arlong's head burst apart.
Staring at Arlong, now undeniably dead, Nami felt a daze.
Did she really do this?!
The Arlong she had once believed unbeatable had truly died by her hand.
A crack sounded.
It was as if some shackle inside Nami had shattered.
Snapping back to reality, Nami looked up at the sky and murmured softly, "Mother, I killed Arlong. You can rest in peace now."
Just then, Reno descended gracefully with Kaya and Makino.
The Merry was still suspended in the air, held up by the Island Cloud.
Coming to Nami's side, Reno gently pulled her into his arms and said softly, "It's all over."
Nami nodded firmly, looking at Reno with deep gratitude.
Meeting him was the luckiest thing that had ever happened to her.
He had given her a new life.
"Reno, let me take you to my home. My sister will be so happy to know Arlong is dead." Nami took the initiative to hold Reno's hand.
Reno smiled and shook his head. "Not so fast. There's still one fish that slipped through the net."
"Get the hell out here!!!"

"Get the hell out here!"
A survivor?!
Nami tensed up again, her Lightning Power surging through her body.
"Who?!"
One second.
Two seconds.
No one answered.
The corner of Reno's mouth lifted slightly as he casually shot a bolt of lightning, blasting a collapsed building to the east.
"Don't, don't, don't... I'm coming out, right now."
A panicked voice laced with begging for mercy rang out.
Then Nami saw Captain Mouse, covered in dust and grime, crawl out from a crevice in the rubble, clutching a large box in his hands.
"You?!!" Nami's face turned icy as she glared at Captain Mouse.
The reason Arlong had been able to act the tyrant in Cocoyasi Village for so many years was all because of Captain Mouse's cover-ups and arrangements.
In Nami's heart, Captain Mouse's evil rivaled Arlong's—if not surpassed it.
They both deserved to die.
"Don't kill me, I'm a Marine Colonel, please don't kill me."
Captain Mouse scrambled over to Nami on his hands and knees, dropping to his knees without a shred of dignity.
Nami had single-handedly wiped out the entire Arlong Pirates—how could he possibly stand against her.
He thought he'd hidden himself well enough, but he never expected to be found after all.
"Now you know you were wrong?!"
"What were you thinking when you acted as Arlong's shield?!"
Reno shot Captain Mouse a contemptuous glance; even now, he was still clutching that money box tightly.
Captain Mouse knocked his head on the ground like a pestle pounding garlic, begging for mercy: "I was fooled by that bastard Arlong, that's why I did so many wrong things."
"If you just let me go, I will definitely turn over a new leaf."
Heh.
Only when the blade's at your neck do you know to change?!
What were you doing until now?
For someone like that, killing him is ridding the world of a menace.
Reno watched Captain Mouse thumping his head against the ground with a loud bang, too lazy to waste more words, and sent him on his way, pocketing the money box as he did.
Leading all the women out of Arlong Park, he found many villagers already gathered outside.
Their expressions were stunned, clearly still shaken by the scene they'd just witnessed.
Not long after Reno left with the women.
The shaken villagers, still rattled, mustered their courage and stepped into the now-ruined Arlong Park. After confirming that Arlong and all the Fish-men were thoroughly dead.
The villagers spread the word to one another, passing the good news to the others.
Before long, the entire Cocoyasi Village was swept into a sea of joy.
