The explosion echoed through the sealed warehouse, drawing in nearly every zombie.
In just ten seconds, nearly a hundred had entered their field of vision.
Though most of them barely retained humanoid forms, their bodies had formed deep bonds with the firearms in the Warehouse Area.
"Arm-fused" zombies were the most common. They could fire simply by raising their arms.
Both their firepower and accuracy far surpassed the ordinary lunatics they had encountered while traveling earlier. Some had even evolved abilities, firing bizarre bullets seemingly supported by their own flesh and bones.
The most outrageous was an obese zombie whose abdominal cavity had turned into a Gatling gun.
Besides firearms, some zombies had fused with melee weapons. The one Robot Little Yellow had blasted apart earlier possessed claws similar to Wolverine's.
Cutting devices, long blades, and heavy hammers—they had everything.
These were the various forms of Metal Zombies.
However, their evolution was what mattered most.
Every part of the zombies' bodies contained a violet crystalline hue.
It flowed through their eyeballs, drifted within their bulging veins, and even coated their weapons in a faint purple glow.
That coloration corresponded to yium ore.
As Robot Little Yellow had explained regarding the "Yium Ore System," these zombies kept upgrading through that system.
Some had evolved advanced traits such as plasma cutting blades, auto-aim systems, and flesh-loaded bullets.
"Wow, there are quite a lot of them~ And this is a species I've never seen before."
Green stared at the Metal Zombies surrounding them. His pupils continually expanded and contracted, and in excitement, he let his entire long tongue hang out.
Freshness.
Green had spent too long in the Abyssal Demon World and had grown unbearably bored. What he craved was this sort of freshness from an entirely new world.
These things did not
