Even with its level restricted, the Black Tengu still possessed abilities that could only be called "monstrous."
Before joining the event, Shinsuke had unlocked all of the Tengu's abilities at the Ladybug Shop. These abilities could be continuously improved through combat and training in the game, including:
"Wind Control," granting Wind Attribute curse magic and self-generated wings.
"Ink Generation," allowing the consumption of Curse Power to grow additional body parts, such as extra limbs or heads.
"Moon Swallow," a unique ability stemming from the Tengu's essence and also its most threatening ability. Due to the game's restrictions, using it required "opening its mouth" and "briefly charging up."
Unfortunately... it was difficult to use this move while fighting Earl.
The reason was simple: Earl had a big mouth.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Wind Blades formed by the flapping wings continuously sliced across Earl's body.
However, physical damage of this level was not enough to move Earl... as long as his vital areas were not struck, his Dog Body, with its blood demon traits, could achieve Super Fast Regeneration.
Between the physical wounds cut open by the Wind Blades, large numbers of capillaries rapidly grew to stitch and heal them.
When the gradually suppressed Tengu tried to open its mouth and use "Moon Swallow"... the battle-hardened Earl immediately realized the problem and would never allow it to unleash that move.
The Blood-Stained Dog Maw, lined with thousands upon thousands of fangs, tore open to an absurdly wide degree.
With Earl's long maw and an opening torn all the way to his chest cavity, he could easily swallow a grown adult whole.
He bit directly at the Tengu's newly opened canine mouth... Swoosh! His fangs pierced through the Tengu's mouth and skull.
Forcing its uncharged mouth shut, leaving it completely unable to open again.
