A group of staff from the Monitoring Room had long since set up an enormous IMAX-grade screen on the field, displaying the live surveillance footage from evening study hall.
Since the teachers basically had nothing to do during evening study hall,
some teachers who cared more about their students,
or those who simply wanted to gather and chat with others,
would bring late-night snacks, beer, sunflower seeds, peanuts, and even hire a barbecue team from the cafeteria, then sit on the grass and enjoy a leisurely night.
Of course, most of them had come for entertainment. They did not believe any students could truly reach the Principal's Office.
The so-called Shadow Students were absolutely the cream of the crop.
To find the "hidden passage" between the Teaching Building and the Administration Building, luck alone was nowhere near enough.
One had to evade various Supervisors, visit different areas of the Teaching Building, trigger and fulfill a series of hidden conditions—only then might the passage open for that individual.
Students hoping to simply try their luck would ultimately find nothing but death.
Only students with real ability, clear objectives, and exceptional perception in the darkness had any chance of succeeding.
As the evening study bell rang,
multiple surveillance feeds immediately switched to several lower- and middle-tier classes. Most of the students in those classes were willing to try their luck, and they were precisely the ones capable of putting on bloody B-movie scenes.
However,
tonight was somewhat different.
One of the surveillance feeds actually switched to the doorway of Class 0104, an Elite Class.
Three students had appeared outside the door of such a "well-provided-for" class, each holding a specially made kerosene flashlight.
Quite a few teachers from the ordinary classes showed surprised expressions.
