Li Yang stood atop a villa, immediately deploying the Breath Concealment Technique as he watched the alley where the battle had just taken place.

"Lord Marquis, those who died here were from the Holy See—a white-robed priest and a special-class deacon!" A man in a black suit respectfully reported to the black-clad man beside him.

Lord Marquis pondered for a moment before saying, "The special-class deacon was a Level Five expert, and the white-robed priest was Level Three. Yet the special-class deacon's head was severed without even the slightest chance to resist. The opponent must have been at least Level Six. I know all the experts of the werewolf clan and our vampire clan in New York, but why couldn't I smell any of them? Who exactly rescued those two werewolf children?"

"Richard, you dared to kill two members of our Holy See. Hmph, accept the judgment of justice!" Along with an icy voice, a blinding beam of white light shot toward Lord Marquis.

Lord Marquis moved, leaving behind a string of afterimages as he instantly evaded the attacking white light.

Lord Marquis looked at the blond man walking out from the depths of the alley, and his expression changed at once. "Robert, a Golden Saint Warrior!" Marquis Richard had never expected the Holy See's foremost expert in New York to come here. A Golden Saint Warrior was a Level Seven expert, while he, a vampire marquis, was merely Level Six. The gap of an entire level was no small thing, and Robert, clad in golden armor, possessed attack power far greater than that of an ordinary Level Seven expert.

"Go!" Lord Marquis gave the order, and the vampire count beside him immediately shot away at high speed.
