Ch. 202True Objective

While Frank’s forces attacked the Kree warship Dark Sky, Wang Bert led Black Bolt and the Inhumans in a raid on the Kree homeworld to destroy the Supreme Intelligence’s mainframe. Wang Bert and Skye reached the Supreme Tower, where the Kree defenses began to respond.

  • Hulk, Electro, Absorbing Man, Tetanus, and the Guardians of the Galaxy fought through the Dark Sky toward the Antimatter Cannon while Lina and Kaiselin led a separate assault on the ship.
  • Kaiselin used her Holy Flame-powered Vibranium Chariot to smash through Kree defenders, and Lina seized control of nine enemy powerhouses to turn them against their comrades.
  • Frank signaled Black Bolt that the Supreme Intelligence’s attention had shifted, allowing Wang Bert and the Inhumans to begin their attack on the Kree homeworld.
  • Wang Bert revealed that he was temporarily using Gladiator’s body and explained that destroying the Supreme Intelligence’s mainframe could destabilize the Kree Empire.
  • Wang Bert assigned Black Bolt to hold off the Kree forces near the Supreme Tower while he, Skye, and Ili approached the tower.
  • Wang Bert destroyed a squad of Kree robots, alerting the Supreme Tower and nearby military base as more robots emerged and Kree troops headed for their warships.

Ch. 203Attack

Wang Bert and Black Bolt led the assault on the Kree stronghold while Hulk and Dr. Banner defeated the Supreme Intelligence in its mind space. After learning that the Kree planned to unleash Antimatter aboard Dark Sky, Thor and Carol subdued their opponents and headed to help Dr. Banner.

  • Wang Bert froze the Supreme Tower fortress with the Casket of Ancient Winters while Skye began locating the Kree mainframe, and Black Bolt and the other Inhumans attacked the Kree forces.
  • The Supreme Intelligence trapped Hulk in a consciousness space, but Hulk and Dr. Banner fought back and destroyed its manifestation, weakening the computer housing it.
  • The Supreme Intelligence ordered Dark Sky to advance toward Sovereign and removed the restrictions on its Antimatter, despite warnings that the resulting explosion could erase everything nearby.
  • Carol escaped the Two-Headed Man and Man-Thing's traps, defeated them, and helped Thor force Ares to surrender.
  • Carol and Thor left Ivan to guard the three captives and went to help Dr. Banner contain Dark Sky's Antimatter.

Ch. 204Giant Robot

While Dr. Banner and his allies tried to contain the Dark Sky’s antimatter reactor, the Supreme Intelligence unleashed its giant Supreme Machine against Wang Bert and tried to take over Skye’s mind. The battle remained unresolved as Wang Bert urged Skye to resist the Supreme Intelligence’s possession.

  • Dr. Banner explained that the Dark Sky’s antimatter reactor would explode soon, and Carol, Thor, Rocket, and the others helped him prepare to remove it safely.
  • The Supreme Intelligence rejected Wang Bert’s demand to surrender, and Skye began breaking through the defenses around its hidden location.
  • The Supreme Intelligence activated the Supreme Machine, which attacked Wang Bert while he fought back and protected Skye and Ili.
  • The Supreme Intelligence entered Skye’s mind and tried to possess her, but Skye resisted its offer to join the Kree Empire.
  • Wang Bert spoke to Skye from the Mind World and urged her to use her strength to drive the Supreme Intelligence out.

Ch. 205Supreme Intelligence, Dead

Wang Bert and the Inhumans destroyed the Supreme Intelligence, throwing the Kree Empire into chaos while Earth’s forces defeated the Kree fleet and seized technology. The Kree commanders began retreating or preparing to fight on, as Banner sent Carol and Thor to move the Dark Sky’s engine room.

  • Skye overwhelmed the Supreme Intelligence inside the Mind Space, while Wang Bert captured the Supreme Machine by teleporting it away before it could self-destruct.
  • Wang Bert refused the Supreme Intelligence’s surrender, and Skye destroyed its main control unit, killing it and spreading the news across the Kree Empire.
  • Wang Bert led the Inhumans in raiding the Kree Empire Research Institute, and Earth Federation Express personnel transported its equipment and researchers to Xandar.
  • With the Supreme Intelligence dead, Kree commanders ordered a retreat, but Earthlings had dismantled the Dark Sky’s engine room and trapped part of the fleet.
  • Lorelei ensnared Kree Soldiers again, while Ivan led Earth’s forces to surround the remaining Kree Fleet.
  • Banner gave Carol and Thor a device and told them to move the Dark Sky’s engine room away, then return when the device turned red.

Ch. 206Adam's Birth

Wang Bert sent Carol to dispose of the Sovereign engine room and revealed that he had destroyed the Supreme Intelligence, triggering turmoil across the galaxy. In Hell, Adam was born as the new Demon King, and Wang Bert faced the Hell Lords while the Elders of the Universe blocked their reinforcements because of their wager.

  • Carol pushed the Sovereign engine room through Wang Bert's space gate, and Wang Bert told her and the others that he had destroyed the Supreme Intelligence before returning to Hell.
  • The major powers recalled their forces and turned their attention to the Kree Empire as its defeat threatened to plunge it into turmoil.
  • Wang Bert made Grandmaster honor his lost bet by warning that the Elders of the Universe would lose credibility if they broke their word.
  • Adam emerged from his golden cocoon as the new Demon King, joked about his own looks, and told Wang Bert that Hell's influence was constantly eroding him.
  • The Demon Dragon Lord and the Succubus Lord entered Adam Hell to confront Wang Bert and Adam, while Grandmaster and the other Elders sealed the passage to keep the remaining Hell Lords out.
  • Lucifer and the other Hell Lords attacked the Elders' barrier as the Elders explained that Grandmaster's wager forced them to stop the reinforcements.

Ch. 207Suppressing the Lord

Wang Bert overwhelmed the Demon Dragon Lord with his newly gained control over space while Adam fought the Succubus Lord. As Wang Bert prepared the Void Shatter spell, the trapped Demon Dragon Lord offered to become his ally for a hundred years, leaving everyone stunned.

  • Wang Bert used his spatial powers to batter the Demon Dragon Lord, while Adam attacked the Succubus Lord with Cosmic Energy.
  • The Shadow Demon Lord and Astronomer explained that Wang Bert had become a space controller and revealed how his spatial projections worked.
  • The Demon Dragon Lord fled through a field of spatial cracks, losing its tail, and Wang Bert bound it with chains linked to Adam Hell.
  • Wang Bert gathered energy for Void Shatter and taunted the Demon Dragon Lord while discussing ways to cook its meat with Adam.
  • The Demon Dragon Lord offered Wang Bert a hundred-year alliance, startling the assembled Hell Lords and Elders of the Universe.

Ch. 208Void Shatter

Wang Bert forced the Demon Dragon Lord and Succubus Lord into contracts, then faced the One-Eyed Lord and banished the Eye Demon that possessed him. He shattered the void with a spatial formation and an antimatter reactor, destroying the Hell Lords’ projections and the Elders of the Universe’s projections before sending the Grandmaster back to face their wrath.

  • The Demon Dragon Lord signed a two-hundred-year contract with Adam, and the Succubus Lord signed a five-hundred-year contract to become Adam’s mount.
  • Wang Bert trapped the One-Eyed Lord in Adam Hell, but the One-Eyed Lord summoned his ancestor, the Eye Demon Shuma-Gorath, to possess him.
  • Wang Bert used Dimensional Banishment to send Shuma-Gorath outside Adam Hell, then activated his spatial formation against the gathered Hell Lords.
  • Wang Bert dropped a Kree Empire Antimatter Reactor into the formation, and its explosion created a Space Storm that destroyed the Hell Lords’ projections and the Elders of the Universe’s projections.
  • Adam sealed Adam Hell against the Space Storm, and Wang Bert dismissed the Grandmaster, whose fellow Elders then beat him for the losses they had suffered.

Ch. 209Curse, Deterrence

Wang Bert survived the Eye Demon’s curse and intimidated the Hell Lords into retreating, while Satan’s death left Hell’s throne vacant. He departed Hell to prepare for the Elders of the Universe’s next attack, leaving Adam to pursue the throne and One-Eyed Hell.

  • Wang Bert challenged the wounded Eye Demon to a duel, but the Eye Demon suddenly sacrificed the One-Eyed Lord’s Soul Stone to curse him.
  • Wang Bert sacrificed his clone and a blood shadow to destroy the curse, while the Eye Demon escaped and a fragment of the One-Eyed Lord’s soul fled back to One-Eyed Hell.
  • Wang Bert taunted the Hell Lords, who refused to enter Adam Hell because they feared the cost of fighting him and the other Demon Kings.
  • Satan’s death shook Hell, and the Hell Lords postponed their attack on Wang Bert while Adam declared his intention to become the new Satan.
  • Wang Bert sealed Adam Hell, opened a portal for Adam to enter One-Eyed Hell, and secretly left behind a clone while returning to prepare for the Elders of the Universe.

Ch. 210Celebration, Memory Hammer

After the Kree defeat, Wang Bert returned to the Sovereign celebration and discovered that Rocket’s prank had made the Sovereign drunk and brought their suppressed personalities to the surface. As the drunken revelry turned into a brawl, Wang Bert learned more about the Sovereign’s hidden frustrations and watched Thor and Carol fight overhead.

  • Rocket secretly added powerful liquor to the Sovereign’s drinks, and the drunken Sovereign started a massive brawl with the Earthlings.
  • Wang Bert and Ivan returned to the celebration, where Annie explained that the Sovereign’s genetic modification had suppressed rather than erased their sense of self.
  • Ivan joined the fighting and drinking, while Shuri invited him to drink with her.
  • Thor challenged Carol, and they began fighting in the sky as the crowd cheered and placed bets.
  • Wang Bert saw the drunken High Priestess Ayesha confess her frustrations and reject Star-Lord, who was then knocked unconscious by Gamora.

Ch. 211Harvest, Ego

The Elders of the Universe split over the Grandmaster’s plan to kill the Blood God, while Wang Bert assessed Earth’s gains and managed Sovereign’s affairs. When Ego arrived to see Star-Lord, Wang Bert sent Carol and Thor to test him, leaving Ego facing Sovereign’s armed forces.

  • Annie told Wang Bert that Earth’s reputation had risen, the Kree Empire was nearing civil war, and Lizard Doctor wanted Kree subjects; Wang Bert ordered surveillance of the Kree and forbade experiments on humans without his approval.
  • High Priestess Ayesha complained about Earthlings disrupting Sovereign and agreed to form diplomatic ties with Earth; Wang Bert demanded payment and reviewed his gains, including technology, ships, the Memory Hammer, the Supreme Mecha, Adam’s clone, and two Demon King subordinates.
  • Ego arrived at Sovereign’s Starport seeking his son, Peter Quill, and the commander reported his arrival to Wang Bert.
  • Wang Bert ordered Carol and Thor to test Ego, while Gamora persuaded Star-Lord to go see his father; Ego left his ship and asked the armed Sovereign forces for a chance to explain himself.

Ch. 212Probe

Ego arrived at the Sovereign Starport seeking Star-Lord, but his battle with Carol and Thor nearly ended in his defeat before he revealed that he was an energy projection. After the fight, Ego reunited with Star-Lord, claimed they shared Celestial blood, and invited him and his companions to visit his planet.

  • Ego destroyed the Sovereign unmanned ships and fought Carol and Thor after they challenged him.
  • Carol used power drawn from another dimension to compress Ego into a ball, but Wang Bert explained that Ego was only an energy projection, and Ego regenerated after Carol released him.
  • Carol allowed Ego to move around the Starport but forbade him from entering Sovereign without permission, and Ego agreed to stop fighting.
  • Ego told Star-Lord that he was a Celestial and that Star-Lord had inherited half of his Celestial bloodline.

  • Ego told Grandmaster that he had planted seeds on Sovereign and other planets, intending to activate them and absorb those worlds.
  • Ego and Grandmaster agreed to prepare their trap on Ego’s planet and wait for Wang Bert and his allies to attack.

Ch. 214Reconnaissance

Ego welcomed Star-Lord and his friends to Ego's Star while secretly preparing a plan with Grandmaster to destroy Blood God and Sovereign. Wang Bert infiltrated the planet and discovered Grandmaster assembling nine mysterious Altars, suggesting the Elders of the Universe were preparing a dangerous ritual.

  • Ego convinced Grandmaster to join his plan, promising that Blood God would die, and gave him coordinates to Ego's planet.
  • Ego revealed to Star-Lord and the Guardians that he was a living planet and offered to teach Star-Lord to use his Celestial power.
  • After Gamora reported Ego's identity, Wang Bert warned Carol and Yondu that Ego's allies might attack soon.

Ch. 215Arrangement Begins

The Grandmaster prepared his Demon Altars for a battle against Wang Bert while Wang Bert gathered allies and altered the Altars. Ego revealed his plan to Star-Lord and began using seeds across the universe to consume planets, leaving the Grandmaster and Astronomer bracing for Wang Bert’s arrival.

  • The Grandmaster told Runner he would sacrifice over ten million souls to fight the Blood God, while Runner objected to the slaughter and collected souls from General Vili’s massacre.
  • Wang Bert learned that General Vili was slaughtering natives in the Kree Empire, asked Annie to seek intelligence, and had Ancient One analyze the Demon Altars’ runes.
  • Wang Bert appointed Strange to prepare Kamar-Taj’s mages for battle, then asked Doom to build a bomb capable of destroying Ego’s defenses and brain; Doom agreed to join the fight.
  • Wang Bert began tampering with the Altars as Star-Lord grew closer to Ego and Drax nearly persuaded Mantis to switch sides.
  • Ego confessed that he had caused Star-Lord’s mother’s death, overpowered Star-Lord, and activated seeds across the universe to devour planets.
  • Astronomer confronted the Grandmaster about Ego’s plan, and the Grandmaster told him to prepare for Wang Bert’s clone because neither side had a way out.

Ch. 216Battle with Ego

Astronomer, Annihilator, and Runner were killed after Wang Bert lured them to Demon Dragon Hell, then Wang Bert ordered his forces to prepare for war. On Ego Planet, Carol and the others fought Ego while Star-Lord began learning to control Celestial power aboard Yondu's mothership, and the battle continued as Rocket and Gamora joined the attack.

  • Astronomer withdrew from Grandmaster's plan, but Blood God intercepted his group's teleport and sent Astronomer, Annihilator, and Runner to Demon Dragon Hell.
  • Adam and the demons killed Astronomer and Annihilator, while Adam caught Runner and snapped his neck; Wang Bert collected their souls and ordered his troops to prepare for battle.
  • Thor, Rocket, and Gamora interrupted Ego's ritual and rescued Star-Lord, but Ego destroyed the Milano before Yondu's Ravager Mothership arrived to take them aboard.
  • Yondu restored Star-Lord's memories and urged him to master Celestial power, while Carol, Ares, Man-Thing, and Two-Headed Man went to fight Ego.
  • Carol and the others battled Ego as his energy whips overwhelmed them, and Gamora and Rocket arrived in the mothership to blast the whips apart.

Ch. 217Angel Demon Alliance Army

Star-Lord broke free of Ego’s control and helped Carol’s group reach Ego’s brain, while the Grandmaster summoned Angel and Fallen Angel armies to battle the Blood God. Wang Bert’s forces gained an advantage with Lorelei’s charm, but Gabriel confronted Wang Bert directly, and their duel continued as he trapped her in a Circle of Death.

  • Star-Lord used the Celestial Light to free his ship, fought Ego, and opened a route for Carol and the others to reach the planet’s interior.
  • The Grandmaster sacrificed Vengeful Souls to activate the Demon and Angel Altars, summoning Angels led by Gabriel’s projection and Fallen Angels while Lucifer remained absent.
  • Wang Bert arrived with a fleet, and the Grandmaster, Lucifer, and Gabriel revealed their plan to destroy him and attack Earth as both armies charged into battle.
  • Lorelei charmed the Angel and Fallen Angel armies into attacking one another and igniting their Angel Cores, while Gabriel’s holy light repeatedly broke her control.
  • Energy Bullets and exploding Angel Cores devastated the opposing armies as Wang Bert fought Gabriel, destroyed her spear, and trapped her in a rapidly contracting Circle of Death.

Ch. 218Relentless Fierce Battles
