Kaecilius used the Darkhold to plan a ritual and had the Spider Demon God transform the people aboard his Sky Base while he waited for Mordo. Meanwhile, Pepper advised Wanda about loving the Blood God and offered her a job at Stark Industries, which Wanda accepted after three days of thought.

• Ancient One told Wang Bert that magicians were restricted to protect human civilization and said that he and Strange would inherit the burden of protecting Earth after her death.
• Kaecilius learned that using Dracula's blood for the Darkhold's ritual would cost him and his followers their lives, so he sought a Demon God's energy and began preparing to destroy the Three Sanctuaries.
• Kaecilius made a deal with the Spider Demon God to demonize the Sky Base's inhabitants, then spent over a month cultivating black magic while Mordo failed to find him.
• Wanda, Mindy, and their companions visited Tony, where they found Pepper beating him in a sparring match and learned that Pepper was a martial arts talent.
