Wang Bert’s forces defeated the Seven Deadly Sins, then used Kingpin and Angel to trap Original Sin with a Time Rewind spell. God appeared as the spell’s true target, and Wang Bert agreed to find a way to permanently resolve the threat of Original Sin.

• Wang Bert destroyed Black King and the other messengers’ bodies, shattered two of their souls, and forced Original Sin to retreat with the damaged souls of Yashida Ichirō and Kingpin.
• Wang Bert announced victory as the mutants and military hunted the remaining Evil Believers; the Professor retired and entrusted the Mutant Academy to Cyclops and Jean.
• In Hell, Kingpin used a gemstone to trigger a Time Magic Array against Original Sin, while Angel revealed herself as an undercover agent and joined Kingpin in attacking Yashida Ichirō.

• Nearly three months later, Wang Bert reflected that the Human Supremacy Organization’s apparent calm likely preceded a final attack, then left his Defense Secretary meetings to visit Mystique, Professor Xavier, and Magneto.

• Black Phoenix detonated her Phoenix Force, escaped with Apocalypse into Hell, and helped Original Sin break through God's seal while Jean struggled for control of her body.
• Original Sin sealed Hell and joined Apocalypse and Black Phoenix in an alliance, while the three planned to recover before confronting Wang Bert again.
• Wang Bert revealed that he had collected blood from Apocalypse and Black Phoenix, sent a Doppelganger to watch Hell, and returned to the Training Ground of Rebirth Group.
