"Ha ha, once you're on the team, you can ask Senior Miyuki and Ono Senior for advice. They're both easy to get along with, but—" Kōshū immediately thought of Miyuki's relationship with the pitchers. "That guy Miyuki has such a terrible personality that he doesn't get along well with most pitchers."
"T-that guy..." Yui was at a loss when he suddenly heard Kōshū disrespecting a third-year.
"Ha ha, don't worry about it."
It was getting late, so Kōshū prepared to take his junior back.
But unexpectedly, he caught sight of someone slipping past the entrance to the Bullpen.
The two inside the Bullpen watched that person's back disappear into the distance. Yui could not help wondering, "Was that Shimizu Osamu from Room 5? Was he there the whole time?"
"Who knows?" Still, that guy was genuinely strange. Aside from that shocking statement on the first day, he had kept an extremely low profile afterward, acting almost too normal. The contrast was so obvious that Kōshū suspected he had been putting on an act before.
This year's freshmen are all more eccentric than the last. Yui from our room is still the most normal. Looking at it that way, Kōshū liked this junior even more.
Over the past few days, Yui had memorized the Room 4 Covenant backward and forward. One night, afraid of violating it and stinking up the room for his seniors, he had washed his shoes until after ten.
Something his two seniors had casually written had been treated as sacred law by their junior. As a Chinese person, Kōshū felt it was a bit cruel.
He had never submitted to being disciplined by seniors, and accordingly, he had no desire to discipline juniors either. It was like the interaction of forces—you could not demand only one side.
