There was nothing unusual about the Eye of Vitality.
The semi-metallic, semi-biological Purple Equipment Gu Xi had obtained before had been more or less the same.
Although there were rather a lot of these Eyes of Vitality, and they looked as though they had been dug directly out of the Octopus Head Necromancer,
that still did not warrant such concern from his Transformed Undead.

As he spoke, the Skeleton Archer presented his bow to Gu Xi.
Gu Xi took it and saw that an Eye of Vitality had been set into the very center of the Skeleton Archer's longbow.
Gu Xi looked at it in confusion, then could not help freezing for a moment.
He clearly remembered that when he had transformed the Skeleton Archer, he had picked out a longbow with fairly decent attributes for him.
By fairly decent, he meant that it was Blue Equipment of acceptable quality.
At the time, Gu Xi had not known where such a longbow had come from. Since he could not use it himself, he had simply used it on a Transformed Undead.
After the transformation was complete, the Skeleton Archer had continued carrying that bow, and Gu Xi had not paid much attention to its attributes.
Now that the Skeleton Archer had placed the bow in Gu Xi's hands, Gu Xi was somewhat surprised.
He discovered that the longbow had actually become Purple Equipment.
Moreover, the bow's attributes made it very clear that it had become Purple Equipment because of the Eye of Vitality.
"How many Eyes of Vitality did you use?"
