At the very least, the Black Blood Knights' battered weapons and equipment had all been refurbished.
Some bone-forged iron plates had been set into their old chainmail. Their shields, once made entirely of wood, now had wooden bases covered in oiled hide and embedded with White Bone Shards.
Their weapons had also been strengthened somewhat, but since no suitable metal had been mined from the Blood Sea, the improvements to their weapons could not compare to the armor, which could be made from bone and Animal Skin.
The enhancement was not particularly impressive. At most, it made them look less shabby.
Gu Xi had also made himself an Animal Skin waist wrap and replaced the Seagrass Skirt he had just bought, making him look less embarrassingly like one of those mindless undead.
Aside from clothing and equipment, this expedition into the sea to hunt Sea Beasts had also brought Gu Xi a large amount of Sea Beast flesh.
Although Gu Xi was not much of a cook and the Sea Beast flesh reeked of blood, he found that turning it into jerky could still fill his stomach.
To ensure his food supply in the Underworld, Gu Xi simply selected the better-quality Sea Beast meat and made several hundred pounds of jerky, enough to sustain him in the Underworld for the next few months.
All the remaining meat was fed to the Black Blood Knights' white horses.
