Looking at the undead who had squeezed in front of him, Gu Xi still asked.
"I am the Spear Stab Mercenary Group Leader of Blade Light Ridge, ranked seventh among Blade Light Ridge's thirteen major mercenary groups. I can be considered half of Blade Light Ridge's lower leadership.
I happened to be on duty today, so I mean no harm."
As the undead explained his identity to Gu Xi, he stopped some distance away, making sure Gu Xi would not think he posed any threat.
Clearly, the Spear Stab Mercenary Group Leader had a firm grasp on certain matters.
He knew how to calm people down.
"Oh, then what did you come here for this time?"
As Gu Xi spoke, he sized up the undead before him.
Gu Xi noticed that this undead carried the same air as the Blood Sea Prophet and the airship that had brought him here.
Gu Xi narrowed his eyes and hesitated before asking, "A Yin Envoy?"
The undead froze for a moment. "Uh, not exactly, but we do have some of that authority. It's a little hard to explain."
That only piqued Gu Xi's interest. "Can you explain it to me?"
"How should I put this? Yin Envoys are employed by the Netherworld, while I earned my position here in Blade Light Ridge by meeting Blade Light Ridge's standards and fighting my way up. Our status is recognized only by Blade Light Ridge. Once we go to the other hells, they won't acknowledge it."
"Then why do you put in so much effort?"
"We have no choice. Blade Light Ridge gave us our status. If Blade Light Ridge disappears, so does our status.
Then we'll have to go elsewhere to make a living.
