Gu Xi shook the dirt off himself and crawled out of the rotting coffin. The first thing he saw was a bizarre sea of flowers before him.
All the flowers here resembled Nether Spirit Flowers, except their eyes were translucent purple.
Starting from the grave Gu Xi had crawled out of, the flowers carpeted the entire graveyard. When Gu Xi took a step forward, every flower moved without wind. Their petals rose like Butterflies, shrouding the entire graveyard.
Seeing this, Gu Xi knew he had come to the right place.
He reached out with his right hand, trying to catch some petals. Yet the petals seemed impossible to touch. Not only did Gu Xi fail to grasp them, they passed through his arm and all fell to the ground.
Before Gu Xi, they formed an avenue made of petals.
Gu Xi immediately understood what was happening.
With a turn of his hand, hurried footsteps and hoofbeats rang out along the petal-paved avenue.

Setting everything else aside, their weapons and equipment had clearly been replaced.
If the Black Blood Knights and undead had previously looked like militia who came with their own gear, they now resembled common troops who had been issued equipment.
The equipment might not have been much, but at the very least, they had all been given matching surcoats to wear over it.
