It really worked!
After running a round of experiments at the Summoning Tower, Gu Xi found that his idea really was viable.
There were just a lot of things that needed adjusting.
First, the dead objects skill was not Summoning. Simply stuffing a soul into something would not raise it as an undead.
The process involved replacing its power with death power, as well as making minor adjustments to the equipment's attributes.
Why had Gu Xi processed them one at a time at first? Wasn't it precisely because every piece of equipment was different?
Batch processing was possible too, but turning a piece of equipment into death equipment with a twist of his hand and an infusion of death power was something Gu Xi could only do when handling each piece individually.
No other method could accomplish that. Large-scale processing could only be done by nurturing the equipment with death power.
But Gu Xi had no objection to nurturing it.
As long as the dead objects skill covered a large area and could convert enough equipment at once, even letting it steep for ten days or half a month would be acceptable.
For example, suppose he had several hundred thousand pieces of orange equipment. Even converting one piece per second, he could only convert six hundred thousand pieces in seven days without stopping.
But could he really work without stopping?
Could he guarantee one piece per second?
Didn't delivering the equipment take time?
Didn't picking it up take time?
Wouldn't it drain his energy?
Six hundred thousand pieces in seven days was the highest estimate. In practice, producing one or two hundred thousand pieces of death equipment in seven days would already be a good result.
Nurturing, however, really could work.
