Carrying the Chief of the Goddesses, Gu Xi led his people back to the site they had chosen for their stronghold at the very beginning.
Progress at the stronghold was fairly quick by now. Under Vesta's direction, the first Fortress had already been built.
The foundations for the three Castles had also been completed. Before long, those three Castles should be able to begin construction above ground.
Inside the Fortress, Gu Xi saw Vesta.
The moment he saw the Chief of the Goddesses in Gu Xi's hand, Vesta was clearly startled.
After all, the Chief of the Goddesses looked very much like the original Goddess of Wisdom and War right now.
But Vesta quickly shifted his attention back to Gu Xi.
"My lord, the positions and layouts of all the Fortresses have been confirmed. Give me another two days, and I can complete construction on every Fortress."

As Gu Xi answered, he sized up the Fortress before him.
The Fortress before him had been built from stone and wood. It looked somewhat like an orc bunker, but a little taller. It had three stories above ground and one underground level.
The top floor was a lookout. Normally, it could be used to observe the situation outside, and during battle, archers could be stationed there to serve as an Arrow Tower.
The second floor was the soldiers' Barracks. One Fortress could house at least fifty soldiers.
The ground floor had the main gate and hall, along with a kitchen, dining hall, and other living areas, enough for fifty soldiers to live here.
The basement was a warehouse, used to store food, weapons, equipment, and the like.
Calculated that way, a single Fortress actually could not hold that many people. About sixty people was more or less
