After sleeping for a little over an hour, Gu Xi woke up and immediately checked his surroundings.

All the people who had escaped from the cells were huddled together, their faces dark as they stared at the skeleton before them, not daring to move an inch.

Even though this skeleton's bones were a bit thinner than theirs, and a single skeleton couldn't possibly keep an eye on all of them, they still didn't dare make the slightest move.

Jack shut his mouth instantly and obediently started leading the way.

The others in the room exchanged glances, seeing the unwillingness in each other's eyes. After a moment of hesitation, they reluctantly followed.

Following behind Jack, Gu Xi and the group quickly arrived at the spot where they had first entered the secret passage.

Before they could open the mechanism leading to the outer corridor, they heard the sound of someone knocking on the wall outside.

Gu Xi gestured with his hand, and Luna passed through the wall, arriving at the ceiling of the corridor.

In the corridor outside, about thirty-odd Black Robe Cultists were tapping the walls with tools, seemingly searching for any undiscovered hidden mechanisms.

Behind these cultists, one who clearly looked like their leader was speaking loudly.

"You better be thorough. Search every inch of this wall carefully.

At the same time, from other entrances to the underground space, cultists were dragging in new arrivals one after another, placing them before the gate, seemingly trying to replenish the numbers of cultists standing there.

While Luna was out, Gu Xi didn't idle. He handed the scimitar he carried to the skeleton beside him and began carefully sharpening the dagger in his hand.

Gu Xi waved the dagger in his hand and forcefully pulled the mechanism to open the secret door.

One Black Robe Cultist, who had been tapping the wall, didn't even have time to react before a dagger plunged straight into his head.
