• Gu Xi found that the world had transformed his equipment into ordinary-looking objects and read its rules from a paper in his briefcase.
• After Gu Xi put the paper away, office workers appeared in the carriage, and he received information about the world's missions, dangers, and day-and-night cycles.

After spotting an Order Mage from Autumn Wind City, he avoided contact and took a taxi to find lodging near Maple Leaf Park, where the driver warned him about the abandoned Ito Middle School.

• Gu Xi read that Heavenly Dao White-Robed Great Guanyin was a level 20 Abomination who punished anyone fighting during the day.

• Wu Tianyou used his cloak to blend into a nighttime Flower Bride Squad and approached its palanquin.
