Hand of Declaration?
Angel immediately thought of the Sealed Artifact possessed by the Emmett Harbor Team, but then she realized that this had to be a Beyonder Ability belonging to a similar Sequence. After being Grazed by the Shepherd, Ms. D, it had become one of her abilities.
After trying to pull the trigger under the prohibition and discovering that the hammer could not ignite the primer at all, Angel gave up on ranged attacks. She shoved Bloodthirst back into its holster, drew the dagger at her waist, and pressed the Magician Pocket Watch with her left hand.
Flame...
Her gaze locked onto the carpet before Ms. D. A flicker of open flame still remained there, left behind by the liquid fire dripping from the Flame Spear.

Her vision flashed, and she crossed space to appear before Ms. D. Her dagger slashed out like lightning.
The Shepherd who had just declared the prohibition clearly had not expected the intruder to possess such mobility. Her beautiful blue eyes widened, her pupils contracted, and she took a small step back.
"Whoosh—"
The sharp dagger sliced across Ms. D's neck, opening a wound that was not particularly deep and sending a string of bright red droplets flying.
Angel had expected that one strike would not inflict a fatal wound. Besides, even wounds ordinarily considered fatal might not cause much trouble for a Mid Sequence Beyonder of the Secrets Suppliant Pathway. The two bullets Dunn had fired into Ms. D's chest were no longer bleeding and had begun healing rapidly.
Ms. D casually wiped the blood from her neck, then reached toward Angel with her bloodied right hand.
Blood... was it some kind of special attack?
Angel had no time to continue attacking and instead swiftly retreated.
"Keep attacking!"
Dunn's voice rang out
