Royale Reideen, with black hair, blue eyes, and slender brows, played several cards in succession. Smiling, she looked at the dejected Seeka and Frye, then gathered the coins on the table before her.
"...You're treating us to lunch today."
Frye coldly remarked.
"No problem. Today's winnings are enough to feed you all for a week."
Royale agreed without a care.
"Treating everyone? Then I can't miss this."
Angel pushed open the door to the Recreation Room and walked in, followed closely by Leonard, who had a coat draped over his shoulders and empty sleeves fluttering behind him.
"Hey, everyone!"
Before Angel could speak, Leonard knocked on the door with his knuckles, drawing the attention of the three Nighthawks playing "Fight Evil." Then, in a reciting tone, he announced:
"Allow me to introduce the lady beside me: Angel Granger, who completely mastered her Sequence 9 Potion in less than two months!"
That was way too exaggerated... A third-rate poet's creativity only shone so brilliantly at times like this.
