After channeling her spirituality and using Black Flame to cleanse the safe house, Angel put the Madness Ring back on, left the sparsely furnished one-room apartment, took a detour through the Docklands, and returned to her home on Red Rose Street in Backlund Bridge Borough.
Although she knew her hunger was merely a negative effect of the Mystical Item rather than the result of actually going without food for too long, she still made herself a simple late-night meal after returning home, satisfying the appetite that had built up inside her.
"Looks like I should wear this ring as little as possible in the future. It's fine for a short time, but if I wear it for too long, I'm afraid it won't just be hunger. Other urges too..."
After fiddling with the ancient-looking ring and its intricate patterns for a while, Angel placed it in a small iron box and carefully stored it away.
