Even before everyone's emotions collapsed and they began shouting, Sherlock—Klein—had sensed something was wrong. The moment one detective drew his gun, his Clown instincts reacted, making him duck and bend at the waist. With a roll, he dodged the muzzle of another detective's gun and reached the back of the sofa.
Of course, the sofa could not block bullets. But the detective with bloodshot eyes and a twisted expression froze the instant he lost sight of his target. That brief lapse allowed Klein to dart out from beside him and seize the hand holding the hammer.
With the hammer locked, the trigger was difficult to pull. Klein then easily disarmed the crazed detective.

"Everyone, stop!"
Isengard swept his gaze over the living room and spoke up as well to stop everyone. His voice was low, but its effect was similar to Caslana's, carrying an indescribable Intimidation.
"Sherlock, do you have any thoughts on what we should do next?"
Isengard Stanton's low yet kindly voice pulled Klein back from the "collective breakdown" that had just occurred.
"Sorry, I didn't hear you clearly. I was wondering whether Stuart and the others had safely reached the Police Station
