The carpet, walls, and sky outside the window returned to their normal colors. The two looked at each other in silence for a long time.
"I never expected the power in Bansy Harbor to conceal so many mysteries, involving the war of the previous epoch, the power of 'Calamity,' and secrets even Mr. Azik dared not touch..."
Angel spoke slowly, lowering her head to look at the two Silver Charms on the table, as though a "Calamity" Charm made from her blood still lay between them.
Suddenly, she felt a not particularly strong but very warm force on her shoulder.
At some point, Klein had come to Angel's side and pulled her into his arms.
The soft touch made her feel very comfortable. Rather than wrap her arms around him as usual, she lowered her head slightly and nestled deeper into Klein's embrace.
The unease in her heart eased somewhat because of that intimate gesture.
"Don't worry. We've already left Bansy Harbor, and the abnormalities there have nothing to do with us anymore. Mr. Azik will continue helping us seek the truth... I also have certain methods to avoid risks to some extent and explore this power. Do you remember Leonard's assessment of us?"
Klein's low voice reached Angel's ear, his breath making her hair itch slightly.
"What assessment? Skilled diviners?"
Forcing herself to perk up, she made an old joke.
The remark successfully made him laugh, and his smile infected her as well. The two stayed pressed together, laughing foolishly, until flashes of vivid red, yellow, and other colors appeared beside them, and a not particularly tall figure returned to the living room.
"By the way, I think the two of you, especially Angel, should have your own messenger as well... Sorry, did I come at a bad time?"
