Watching the sea churn like a boiling pot for a moment, Angel silently dived beneath the surface, avoiding the terrified looks of the surviving pirates as though they had seen a Siren.
She had thought that a Charm made from a few drops of blood from herself, a Sequence 5 Beyonder, would at most be like a "Slumber" or "Dream" Charm, capable of affecting enemies within a radius of a few meters. Even if it was called "Calamity," perhaps it would merely give people headaches and fevers?
She had never expected that a pirate ship dozens of meters long, carrying hundreds of pirates and Sailors and equipped with multiple cast-iron cannons, would instantly be reduced to ashes beneath such a tiny iron sheet, as though it had never existed upon the sea.
Its power was no less than the strongest Charm Angel had seen, "Sunfire." The latter had played a tremendous role when dealing with Megose in Tingen City. Under Klein's repeated use, it had nearly burned the Evil God's Offspring's mother body to death. The "Shattered Light Ray" made from it had pierced through every enemy present in one stroke. He would never have dared show himself so easily.
Although "Calamity" was not as condensed or focused in its destructive power as "Sunfire," it could distribute all that power evenly across a massive ship's hull. It had actually destroyed the entire City Breaker without killing a single pirate... If its target were Mid Sequence, or even High Sequence Beyonders, could it achieve the same effect?
The only problem was likely how to make the Charm hit its
