"Mirror Person?"
"The World" Klein slowly repeated the words.
It was not the first time he had heard them. Back when the two of them had followed the Admiral of Stars aboard the Future to the God War Ruins, this strange phenomenon had appeared in the eerie United Dreamland there.
While searching for a route into the Forsaken Land of the Gods, Leomaster, the Aurora Order's Saint of Darkness, had strayed onto an island of ruins. A mysterious force there had split a "Mirror Person" from his evil self—a good version of himself.
When night fell and everyone entered the same dream, Klein had encountered the good Leomaster. He had even seen that force reflected in a full-length mirror.
Unfortunately, when he saw the mirror, it reflected him too. A wholly evil "Gehrman Sparrow" had appeared out of thin air, possessing the same Sequence, abilities, and even Mystical Items as Klein, and attacked him.
If his opponent had been able to copy the items within the Gray Fog, Klein would not have won so easily.
At the same time, Angel had encountered her own reflection. The two had identical fighting abilities and Mystical Items and had nearly destroyed each other. If not for the Calamity Charm, which likewise could not be copied, the evil Mirror Person might have replaced her.
Hearing "Mirror Person" again now, Klein immediately recalled those experiences. Frowning, he asked, "You think Pierce Turner split into two identical individuals, one normal and one evil, for a similar reason? One died in the Underground Mine on Para Island after a failed advancement, while the other remains in the Church, playing the role that was originally his—or plotting something?
"But when my Mirror Person died, nothing appeared. Yours left only a mirror shard, with no characteristic or Mystical Items.
