The stone slate, small yet inexplicably heavy with history, slammed into the Genie's translucent, pale golden figure. A sudden torrent of chaos, encompassing every color and every possibility, surged forth and instantly scattered the azure light and white mist binding him.
This being, who shared an origin with the Uncertain Mist beyond the barrier but had been sealed inside the Magic Wishing Lamp in ancient times, was instantly swallowed by the ocean of chaos. His body rapidly dissolved into specks of golden light, leaving only a dim shadow at his core, azure tinged with white.
Then the waters of chaos passed through the lamp, whose surface was no longer golden but seemed veiled in a thin mist. They swept past the Trunsoest Brass Book, whose rules rapidly turned grayish-black and could no longer be freely altered, carried away the azure light spilling from between its pages, and surged toward the motionless Black Emperor Roselle.
A great deal of white mist still shrouded him. Blocked by the azure light emerging from Roselle's body, it both resisted and merged with that light, unable to return to the god's body for the moment. Beyond the barrier, the great Uncertain Mist finally realized something was wrong and began trying to sever its connection with these emanations and powers.
But merging with the power of a sefirah was an instinct of the white mist, not something that could be immediately severed or separated. The waters of chaos carried by the Blasphemy Slate had already reached it first.
In an instant, the all-encompassing waters swallowed most of the mist, then Roselle, who had spread his arms. Yet the azure light within him actually began resisting the waters' encroachment, as though protecting him.
Another being who had established a connection with the Genie was not so fortunate.
