In the Astral World, which seemed to encompass every authority and symbolic concept in the universe, a kingdom shrouded in ceaseless storms, lightning, and thunder happened to draw alongside a kingdom made of books, where countless figures wandered and read, amid their seemingly patternless cycles.
At the same time, a dark kingdom planted with deep sleep flowers and night-scented herbs drifted beneath them, bringing all three into alignment.
This drew the attention of the Outer Deities constantly watching for changes within the barrier. Terrifying faces beyond description pressed close to Earth, against the transparent barrier of the Astral World, trying to discern the changes within.
Ordinary movements between divine kingdoms held little interest for them. But if a deity had left the Astral World, weakening the barrier, these Great Old Ones waiting around Earth for the final "Apocalypse" would not mind launching a joint attack to bring that day forward.
Soon, however, the conceptual symbols representing "sight" and "attention" turned toward the divine kingdom of the "Goddess of Calamity," which drifted past the three kingdoms that had seemingly collided due to poorly planned routes. Within that mirror-bright space, reflecting the light shed by the Outer Deities, explosions erupted incessantly, as though it would collapse at any moment.
