"Where... are we?"
Christina first felt her shoulder bag. Only after confirming that the "magic lamp" that had sent her and Dorothy sneaking out of their home and traveling everywhere was still safely inside did she turn to ask her older sister.
The latter clearly had yet to recover. Those few seconds of bizarre, dazzling scenery had left her dizzy, her brown eyes as still as a lake. It took a while before she came to her senses and looked around, just as Tina had done earlier.
"A beach."
She gave an answer that could not possibly be wrong.
Obviously... We vacationed at Desi Bay just last year, but the sky wasn't this blue, and the sea wasn't this dark. More importantly, that whole beach was crowded... Tina muttered to herself and opened her shoulder bag, intending to touch the Golden Lamp and ask the Genie inside whether he knew where they were.
But before she could touch the Sealed Artifact and ask her question, his unmistakably grand, imposing voice rang out in her mind:
"This should be the central region of the Rorsted Archipelago, in northern Blue Mountain Island, very close to Bayam, the largest city in these waters.
"As it happens, our next destination is in that city."
"Blue Mountain Island?" Tina quietly repeated the somewhat awkward name, searching her memory for the location of this island in the Berserk Sea.
It was a tropical island between the Northern and Southern Continents, once part of the Loen Kingdom and now peacefully independent.
"You mean this is Blue Mountain Island, where Bayam, the City of Generosity, is?" Dorothy asked aloud after hearing her sister's muttering. Then she looked at the hand Tina had just slipped into her bag. "Did that Genie tell you?"
"Correct!"
