The Three Great Churches' Speculations

Late at night, an alley between Black Palm Street and White Whale Street in East Borough was already packed with Beyonders from different churches.

For over a hundred meters northward from the middle of the alley, it looked as if a giant hand had swept through. The eaves jutting from both sides had been flattened, and the ground was so clean it looked freshly and carefully swept. Farther away, near Black Palm Street, a small mountain of trash had piled up, completely blocking the alley.

"Judging from the traces left behind, we can determine that a powerful tornado completely flattened this two-story building before blowing northward along the alley, clearing everything in its path and piling the trash there... What's strange is that there were no casualties at the scene. For destruction of this scale, it was extremely restrained."

A tornado of this magnitude had likely come from a High Sequence Beyonder of the Storm Pathway. In all of Backlund, the only publicly known Demigods of that Pathway were a military Demigod stationed on the outskirts of the city and Radar of the Church of Storms.

Under his subordinate's gaze, the Cardinal Bishop of the Church of Storms did not change expression. He merely pressed, "What about the other clues? Wasn't this a gathering place for the 'Aurora Order'?"
