"I know where you want to return to, or at least that you want another glimpse of that world. But the span of time between them is as vast as the Pacific Ocean, and all you have is a bathtub."
She made no attempt to hide that she knew their "origins." In particular, "Pacific Ocean," a term Angel had not heard in ages and which could only be awkwardly cobbled together in Loenese, made her newly buoyed heart sink again.
"But you mean... if the span of time isn't too great, there's a chance my 'bathtub' could float across?"
Picking up on the crucial point in her words, Angel pressed further.
The question immediately silenced the Mirror Person. Only after a moment did she let out a soft sigh, just as Angel usually did, and say:
"It is indeed possible to use the properties of the City of Calamity for so-called 'time travel,' but it requires two things: an anchor for the Sefirah's power, and sufficient spirituality."
Without waiting for Angel to ask more questions, she immediately explained the two concepts:
"You should already understand what an anchor means. Your journey from Bansy Harbor to the Underground Catacombs of Trier, and your passage from Sona Island through the barrier sealing off the Forsaken Land of the Gods into that lightless land, both used anchors formed by power leaking from the City of Calamity. Sufficient spirituality, meanwhile, is what you need to 'return' to your starting point. Neither can be dispensed with."
