This was an ordinary Eevee. Its senses seemed rather sharp, or perhaps it was simply braver. The moment it sensed that its trainer no longer wanted it, it immediately leaped out.
It ran toward its trainer, baring its teeth at the staff pursuing it. Before long, it jumped in front of its trainer.

Under Psychic control and Vine Whip, the Eevee was quickly restrained. Just as they were preparing to recall it with a Poké Ball, it suddenly erupted with even greater strength than it had displayed in the match. It directly broke free from Psychic control despite being ten levels lower, tore free from the Vine Whip as well, and flung the Bulbasaur several meters away.
