Doflamingo had finally gotten his wish and met the head of the Charlotte Family.
Inside the palace on Whole Cake Island, Charlotte Linlin was leisurely reclining on a couch while enjoying afternoon tea. White specks of light drifted from her hand and landed on the various desserts arranged atop the enormous dining cart before her.
The desserts came to life, each growing facial features and limbs before jumping into Charlotte Linlin's mouth with cheerful cries of "Mother!"
"Mother, Mother! Doflamingo, what do you want with me?"
Charlotte Linlin licked her crimson lips and grinned with her enormous, blood-red mouth as she spoke.
"I came to help you, Big Mom."
Even someone as frivolous as Doflamingo remained humble before Charlotte Linlin.
He knew very well that he could act arrogantly before the Marines because he was a Shichibukai, and the Marines would not touch him. He could also act arrogantly before the World Government because he held a tremendous secret about the Celestial Dragons, forcing even the Five Elders to compromise with him.
But he could not be arrogant before a monster like Charlotte Linlin.
If he angered this monster even slightly, he would die.
"Help me?"
Charlotte Linlin immediately burst into laughter. "Interesting. How come I don't know of anything I need your help with?"
The only thing she might possibly need his help with was having children, but he was merely an ordinary human. She already had more than enough human children, and there was nothing special about them.
"Because you have been deceived, Big Mom. I came this time to help you expose that man's lies."
Doflamingo spoke righteously, as though he were truly an upright man who had traveled a thousand miles just to keep an elderly woman he did not know from being deceived.
"That man?"
