Zephyr left without looking back, taking the disciples who had come here with him.
Strongest Shield silently watched their retreating figures.
Watching alongside him was the Marine hero, Mr. Garp.
"Mr. Garp, I think you should properly persuade Mr. Zephyr and help him calm down."
Strongest Shield spoke calmly, then turned and returned to Pangu City.
Garp did not even turn around. He kept gazing at his old friend's retreating back.
That figure looked desolate and frail.
It was something he had never seen before.
In the past, Zephyr's back had always been proud, his waist always straight. He had always faced any enemy with the utmost pride and confidence.
But now, it was as though he could no longer straighten his back, as if something were weighing him down.
"Zephyr—"
Vice Admiral Garp softly called his friend's name.
He watched Zephyr go farther and farther away.
Just as Zephyr was about to vanish from the edge of his sight, Vice Admiral Garp saw it: the man straightened his back again and ran a hand through his hair.
Inside Pangu City.
"Zephyr has returned."
Strongest Shield was reporting to the Five Elders.
"Hmph. He may have gone back, but he is probably still nursing his resentment."
The bald Five Elder snorted.
"Don't say that. No matter what, Zephyr has fought for the Government as a Marine for decades."
The blond Five Elder smiled. "We should soothe him properly afterward."
"What a performance."
The bearded Five Elder burst into laughter.
"Isn't it because we are worried that he might do something irrational in his anger?" The blond Five Elder's smile did not fade.
"That is true. Although Zephyr lost an arm and contracted asthma that is difficult to cure, he is still quite powerful and possesses tremendous influence within the Marines."
