The location was Mermaid Cafe on Fish-Man Island. Bright was sitting there with a broad smile, eating.
"So, what exactly are you so happy about?"
Shyarly sat across from him, lazily propping her chin up with her right hand as her large eyes blinked slowly. "You look like you're expecting something very interesting to happen."
Bright grinned. "I am expecting something very interesting to happen."
"A very interesting fellow is on his way."
"Is that so?"
Shyarly raised an eyebrow. "Then don't make too much of a mess, okay?"
"Don't worry."
Bright smiled. "He's not the kind of person who can cause much of a stir."
"That's for the best."
Shyarly did not particularly care about it.
With this man stationed on Fish-Man Island, who could possibly cause any trouble on this island?
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of Fish-Man Island, in the deep sea where light and darkness met.
The Spade Pirates, who had come from afar, were stopped by people who had suddenly appeared.
"A routine inspection?"
Ace tilted his head in surprise. "But—"
"This is seriously something else!"
Three enormous creatures had appeared before them.
Three sea beasts clad in thick armor had surrounded their ship from three different directions.
Each sea beast was almost as large as their ship. Even a slight collision would probably smash their vessel to pieces.
Even more astonishing were the weapons mounted on the sea beasts, the mere sight of which made their teeth ache.
Besides the sea beasts, numerous fish-men were armed to the teeth. Some rode atop the sea beasts, while others swam through the water. In any case, they were slowly surrounding the ship.
"Wah!!"
The members of the Spade Pirates cried out in terror.
"We're done for! We're finished!"
Scal screamed even more miserably, tears streaming down his
