Akainu really was an incredibly stubborn man.
This was not the first time Bright had experienced that.
"If you don't believe me, taking you to see the message Joy Boy left behind wouldn't be a big deal."
Bright said it casually.
"Huh?"
Aokiji froze for a moment, then exclaimed, "Bright, are you talking about Laugh Tale?"
That piece of history had long since been erased by the World Government. If Bright knew of that past, then there was only one possible reason: he had already reached the legendary Final Island.
It was still somewhat unbelievable to say so now, but that was probably the truth.
"If you're willing, I can take you there right now."
Bright said.
It was no big deal. At worst, if these two still refused to join them in the end, he could just get rid of them.
"..."
Aokiji paused, then said, "Ahlalal, it seems there really is no reason for you to deceive us. It's hard to believe, but that is probably the truth of history."
"It's just a pity that Ohara didn't live to see this day."
What had happened in Ohara back then was still a hurdle Aokiji could not overcome.
The man who had once pursued passionate justice had become utterly lazy from that day onward.
"There's no need to be disappointed about that."
Bright said with a smile, "You can probably guess it, Aokiji. Without Robin's help, how could we possibly have reached the Final Island?"
Aokiji was slightly stunned, then smiled with a touch of emotion. "I see."
"And Ohara's legacy has been preserved as well."
Bright said, "After Ohara was destroyed, a giant covered in burns returned there with his companions and brought all the books the scholars had thrown into the lake to protect back to Elbaf."
