Gion stopped in her tracks. The piercing alarm echoed through every corner of the base; there was no way she could pretend not to hear it.

Caesar looked equally bewildered.
Then he remembered. Hadn't something like this happened a long time ago? The alarms throughout the base had blared without stopping?
Caesar's face instantly turned deathly pale. "Don't tell me Bright is here!!!"
Could that guy really have an informant inside the Science Unit?
"Bright?"
Caesar's strange misunderstanding made Gion tense up as well. Although she had never faced that man directly, she had heard enough from her seniors to know what kind of powerhouse he was.
