The starry sky was boundlessly vast.
In the pitch-black, endless expanse, countless stars shimmered with dim or brilliant radiance.
"So this is... the starry sky?"
Bright and the others had already arrived on Hades' outer deck. Although Hades flew at an astonishing speed, Bright could summon clouds to secure everyone in place while raising a Haki barrier to block the howling wind rushing at them.
Shanks smiled like a child, reaching toward the stars as though he wanted to grasp the entire sky in his hand. "What a beautiful sight. I've never seen anything like it."
"It's completely different from what you see on the Blue Sea."
Tightly wrapped in Bright's clouds, Iceburg, Tom's finest disciple, was deeply moved. "It's... so beautiful!"
Endless and boundless.
Mysterious and magnificent.
Bright, too, felt refreshed and open-minded for the first time in a long while.
Only upon reaching the stars did humanity realize how small it truly was.
What did it matter if one ruled supreme over the Blue Sea?
Before this vast starry expanse, everything was no more than passing clouds.
"The more astonishing part is about to come."
Rayleigh laughed heartily and raised his right hand, pointing into the distance. "We're almost at the moon."
Sure enough, a massive pale-white sphere floated silently in the distant void.
It really was close. The distance between this moon and the Blue Sea was far shorter than the distance between Earth and the Moon in Bright's previous life.
Hades' speed was certainly incredible, but they had barely been flying for long and were already about to arrive.
Who could have imagined that interstellar travel would be so easy?
"The moon..."
Franky was beside himself with excitement. "We're really going to land on the moon! Today is a SU—PER day!!"
They drew closer and closer.
