Bright temporarily remained in Water 7.
Master Tom insisted on waiting until the Sea Train was officially put into operation before leaving, and Bright could not force him.
It was the conviction of an excellent shipwright.
Since Bright could not force him, he could only choose to stay and wait.
Master Tom was extremely busy. Although the Sea Train had been completed and the tracks had been laid, he still tirelessly inspected both the Sea Train and the rails every day.
As an outstanding shipwright, he would never allow any flaw in his work. Just as he had said himself, he wanted to send the ship he was proud of sailing out to sea with a bang.
Bright could not possibly follow Master Tom around the entire time, and he had no intention of revealing himself. Over the past few days, he had rented a room at an inn in Water 7 and, like every tourist visiting the city, rode the Blue Small Boat through Water 7's streets and alleys each day.
However, after the initial novelty wore off, he felt that the city was nothing special.
A city of water?
Could it possibly compare to Fish-Man Island?
Still, Water 7 had something that attracted him: the ancient buildings that had long since sunk beneath the sea around the island.
Buildings that had submerged due to rising sea levels and the island's subsidence stood silently beneath the surface. Though they had been badly corroded, traces of their former splendor could still be seen.
As Bright moved through those buildings, he wondered: eight hundred years ago, was this where the shipwrights had built Pluto?
Why had it been created, what kind of power did it possess, and why had such advanced technology later been reduced to nothing more than the blueprints
