• Source Worlds are scattered throughout the Infinite Primordial Space, whose exact number is unknown even to Yuan. The Origin Continent itself is one such Source World. 881
• They are fundamentally distinct from worlds constructed by powerful cultivators; despite the larger populations of some artificial worlds, naturally born Source Worlds possess superior innate potential. 992
• Nearby Source Worlds may gather into world clusters. Multiple world clusters form domains, which collectively make up territories within the cultivator lineage. 926
• Source Worlds are the cultivator faction's foundation because each one can potentially produce a World-class Primordial expert or a future Lord. All nine known Lords originated from Source Worlds. 928 992

Origin

Each Source World possesses a vast Origin that sustains its operating rules, space-time, continents, mountains, rivers, and living beings. Its Origin is substantially more resilient than that of ordinary worlds created by cultivators. 981 1006

• A Source World's Origin may be strong but dispersed, leaving it unable to directly resist powerful external predators. 953
• Source World membranes normally separate the world from the Primordial Space, though specialized corruption can penetrate them. 952 953
• The Source World's rules can be altered as its Origin is assimilated, eventually treating an invader as a native inhabitant. 953

Native Recognition

A being must be recognized as a native by a Source World to wield its supreme rules. Outsiders entering another Source World are suppressed to the Chaos realm and cannot contend with native powers on equal terms. 863

• Source World natives may cultivate to the God King Ultimate realm and transcend the Cage into Primordial Life. 928 1002
• World-class Primordial beings possessing a Source World are comparable to Hunyuan Lords while inside their own world. 863

Innate Primordial Life

Innate Primordial Life can consume a Source World's Origin to accelerate the excavation of their bloodline potential. High-level Primordial Life may become World-class through this process, while World-class beings can continue growing toward Ancestor status. 961

• During the fall of the Phoenix Eye World Cluster, World-class Primordial Life infiltrated and destroyed Source Worlds rather than confronting the defending Lords directly. 980 981
• A single World-class Primordial Life can devour a Source World's Origin and break through its defenses within roughly one hundred epochs; several attackers reduce that time further. 981
• The destruction of Source Worlds weakens the cultivator faction's ability to produce future experts. 928

World-Devouring Worms

World-Devouring Worms use black mist to erode Source Worlds gradually, corrupting both the Origin and the souls of their inhabitants. 952 953

• The worms alter a Source World's operating rules until the rules favor them, allowing their main bodies to enter without suppression. 953
• A worm that completes the assimilation of a Source World can draw upon its Origin and potentially become a World-class Primordial Life. 953
• Even after a worm is eliminated, the damaged operating rules must be repaired or they remain harmful to the world's cultivators. 953
• The World-Devouring Worm race considers Source World erosion a means of marking worlds that individual worms may later claim. 954

Role in the Cultivator Lineage

• The cultivator lineage assigns High-level Primordial experts to guard world clusters, defend against attacks, and identify talented Source World natives. 926
