• Huo Yuhao woke in the past, reunited with Huo Yun'er, and used a Moon Concealing Buddha Candy to stop Dai Shiliu from harassing her.
• Huo Yuhao awakened his Spirit Eye Martial Soul with Level One Innate Soul Power, then relied on dangerous commissions to reach Rank Ten and planned to take Huo Yun'er away after finding treatment for her illness.
• Huo Yuhao traveled to the Star Dou Great Forest, where he met Du Busi and Long Aotian after they followed the scent of his grilled fish.

Huo Yuhao brought Huo Yun’er to Shrek City, joined Shrek Academy’s orbit through a food business and a Soul Tool apprenticeship, and challenged Xu Sanshi in a duel. After their second match ended in a draw, Elder Xuan approached Huo Yuhao, whose danger sense warned him against trusting the elder.

• Huo Yuhao traveled with Huo Yun’er to Shrek City and explored Shrek Academy, where Bei Bei and Tang Ya introduced him to its grounds and customs.

• Huo Yuhao used Mystic Water Pills to increase his cultivation, then spent a year studying and working at his barbecue shop while Xuan Zi returned from the Far North Land without a cure for Xiaotao.
• Huo Yuhao learned of Zhou Yi’s abusive training and helped organize complaints, prompting the Sea God Pavilion to find her guilty and order compensation and opportunities for affected students.
• Ma Xiao Tao’s Evil Fire became controllable after her encounter with Huo Yuhao, whose golden eyes appeared to suppress it, while Ning Ge showed Huo Yuhao his mechanical arm and explained its remote-control technology.
• Huo Yuhao negotiated with Yan Shaozhe for Core Disciple status, resources, and access to both Shrek departments, then promised to enroll the following year.

• Huo Yuhao absorbed the Azure-Eyed Swift Demon Hound’s soul ring, gained Wind Manipulation, and encountered Sky Dream Ice Silkworm, who joined him as a second Martial Soul and granted him a million-year Soul Ring.
• Huo Yuhao discovered that his new Martial Soul had become a chrysalis and tested his Mental Detection and Breath of Ice before meeting Ning Ge, Ning Tian, and Wu Feng in the forest.
• Huo Yuhao and Ning Ge saved Ning Tian and Wu Feng from a Glazed Dragon, and Ning Tian absorbed its soul ring before the group traveled to Shrek Academy.
