Origin and confinement

Zhao Sheng recalls that the Star God was born during the great war between humans and the Spirit Race more than twenty thousand years ago. A powerful human cultivator subsequently confined it within the Heaven-Earth Law Net Grand Array and established the Star God Palace lineage to guard both the array and the imprisoned god. 391

Among Nascent Soul cultivators, the Star God was regarded as an inconceivable, impartial existence comparable to the Heavenly Dao. A saying claimed that it was everywhere and knew everything. 215

Its outlook on life and death differs fundamentally from that of humans. As a Sea God lifeform that is constantly born and dies through countless consciousnesses, it treats death as a source of novel information rather than a tragedy. 392

Individual manifestations may appear childlike, blunt, and emotionally undeveloped. The reincarnated child speaks mechanically, identifies itself simply as “the god,” and directly accuses Zhao Sheng of lying. 390 391
