"What an arrogant tone!" Carter snarled, his expression growing increasingly grim. So many of his men had died—he wished he could tear Ning Luo to pieces! His palm slowly rubbed along the shaft of his spear. As the battle qi within him surged ever more violently, Carter suddenly let out a low shout, stomped hard on the ground, and shot toward Ning Luo. The spear in his hand trembled slightly, dancing several snow-white spear blossoms out of thin air.
"Boy, you killed so many of my brothers. Today, I will kill you and avenge them!"
He roared. Ning Luo had killed so many of his brothers before, and all his boundless grief and fury erupted at this moment.
He had originally thought Ning Luo would flee, but he had not expected Ning Luo to come fight him willingly. This was the perfect chance for revenge. He wanted to kill him, dismember him, chop him into mincemeat. Even tearing him into pieces would not quell the hatred in his heart.
Facing Carter's vicious attack, Ning Luo retreated slightly, the Electric Blade in his hand constantly blocking Carter's spear.
"Clang, clang, clang..."
As the two moved, every clash between the spear and the Electric Blade sent sparks flying through the air, accompanied by a string of crisp ringing sounds.
The tricky spear tore through the air with a piercing whistle, stabbing out like lightning. The Electric Blade hurriedly swept across again, trying to keep it at bay.
However, just as the spear was about to strike the Electric Blade, the shaft trembled slightly and the spearhead suddenly swerved, forcibly slipping around the blade's defense.
The successful evasion made Carter narrow his eyes, a chill flashing through them. His palm struck the butt of the spear, sending it shooting toward Ning Luo's throat.
