Ten thousand meters above the ground, Thor Odinson stared in disbelief at Mjolnir, which had been stopped by a single finger.
How was that possible?

He could hardly believe his eyes, but reality stood before him, impossible to deny.

The shattered hammerhead was like pulverized tofu. Violent thunder energy mixed with falling metal and exploded across the boundless night sky, as if someone had launched a dazzling firework into the heavens. The lightning illuminated Thor's stunned face as well.
He could not believe his eyes. His hammer, his beloved Mjolnir, had actually... actually shattered!
"My hammer!"
Thor cried out like a wronged grown boy, watching helplessly as the hammerhead broke apart into chunks of scrap metal and fell through the air below.
Thor, the God of Thunder, had three favorite things: eating, drinking, and playing with his hammer.
And now, his favorite hammer had been blown apart by someone's finger.
