As the furnace in the vast cosmos slowly went out, countless wisps of white steam rose from the mold. A silver spear gleaming with a cold light lay quietly within.
"There are still some scraps left, Thor. I'll forge you an axe."
Eitri spoke to himself as he combined the remaining furnace materials with a divine wood branch and forged a sharp battle-axe for Thor.
"Good stuff!"
Thor's eyes gleamed as he stared at the battle-axe in the mold. Although all the materials had been left over by Jino, its power had not been diminished in the slightest.
Jino ignored Thor's eager anticipation. He picked up the spear and held it in his hand, sensing the energy contained within.
"Not bad."
Jino gently spun the spear. Its sharp tip let out a whistling sound, as though it were about to pierce through the rain.
His true strength lay in the energy contained within his own body. Weapons were merely auxiliary tools.
"My axe is finished too!"
Thor gripped the battle-axe as countless crackling arcs of lightning coiled around its blade, making it look immensely imposing.
"Jino, come with me to Asgard!"
Thor was overjoyed and said with a grin, "There are plenty of good things in my father's treasury. Take whatever you want!"
What a guy. As expected of Thor, the eldest prince renowned throughout the outside world as a lovable fool. Once he got excited, he was utterly ruthless about squandering the family fortune.
"Forget about taking things. There isn't much good stuff in your father's treasury anyway." Jino shook his head. If anything counted, perhaps the Eternal Flame did?
But he had no need for such a thing, and it would not do much to enhance his strength.
"Then at least let me treat you to a meal?"
