A long spear streaked through the city's streets and alleys like a flash of light.

If this were a lighthearted novel, it might have been called a cultivator flying a sword.

But the silver gleam darted about like Yondu's Yaka Arrow, mercilessly claiming every life in its path.

Splat!

After viciously pinning a towering monster to the wall, Gungnir completed its mission, carrying the creature with its limbs severed toward Jino, who caught it in his hand.

"Damn, this thing is really ugly."

The Flash, hiding among the crowd, shook his head. The creature was genuinely hideous. Perhaps the creator who had made these things simply had terrible taste.

"Monsters only need to be useful. They don't need much aesthetic value—they aren't Succubi." Jino pulled out the spear as Clark planted a foot on the monster's stomach, crushing it firmly against the ground as it struggled to rise.

He glanced at Barry, whose eyes were shifting around. The guy had probably thought of something inappropriate. After all, in the West, Succubi carried much the same connotation as Fox Spirits in the East—both were associated with tales of romantic encounters. Jino said helplessly, "Maybe someday I should take you to Hell and show you how Succubi are made. Trust me, after that, you'll completely lose interest in those creatures."

Barry scratched his head and lowered it guiltily. "I was just looking at this monster's skin structure. It seems very novel."

"Leave professional matters to professionals. You can't figure out much just by looking."

Jino shook his head and looked up at the sky. "Singer, send Victor a message. Tell him to come over."

"Received. Contacting Cyborg."

"Cyborg has received your order. He is heading to your location and is expected to arrive in ten seconds."

The words had barely fallen—

Whoosh!
