"Something was wrong."
"If I had to describe it right now, it was absurd."
Jino sped through the clouds, his towering figure rising and falling as he tore through the airwaves, dancing among the high-altitude clouds like a soaring dragon.
His azure eyes seemed capable of seeing through all worlds and all things as they gazed impassively at the clouds drifting past on either side.
Who would have thought that Clark, the Superman blessed with the "Power of I Think," hailed as humanity's hope and capable of punching Batman and kicking Darkseid, would be suppressed by an alien starfish?
"Still, in the comics universe, Starro could be considered a terrifying enemy. But in the movie universe..."
Jino narrowed his eyes. He had just asked Singer, and no alien lifeforms had recently breached the Watchtower's surveillance systems around Earth and entered the planet. That meant Starro had not arrived on Earth recently.
That made the next matter simple to consider.
Perhaps this alien creature had come to Earth long ago and remained here for a very long time before only recently beginning to act.
"Singer, hack into the American government and military files. Find any reports and documents related to alien lifeforms."
Jino spoke, directing his intelligent butler to get to work.
As an intelligent lifeform from Cybertron, Singer's technological level was clearly more than a tier above humanity's current technology. Before long, Jino received Singer's report and got the answer he wanted.
"I found a report from the American government three years ago. They captured an alien starfish in outer space. At the time, the astronauts brought the alien starfish inside without any protective measures, and they were all controlled by it."
"Afterward, the spacecraft crashed to Earth and landed on an island, where local forces captured the alien creature."
