Watching Seele and Bronya meeting for the first time, Pela looked at Seele with a curious gaze and asked with a smile.
"Seele, I didn't expect your first meeting with the Supreme Guardian to be so tense. How did you two end up getting along so well later?"
Faced with this question, Seele thought for a moment.
"Hmm, I don't really remember clearly. Even though we went through the Former Supreme Guardian's incident together, it seems like something after that changed our relationship."
Pela had only asked casually, but she hadn't expected there to be real inside information.
"What was it? Seele, can you think carefully? Please, this is really important to me!"
Seeing the spark of curiosity in Pela's eyes, Seele could only scratch her head.
"Uh... there's a lot to think about. I need to recall carefully. Probably... that time she drove to the Underworld to save me?"
After the two argued, Seele said she would take Bronya to meet Oleg, the leader of the Underworld Fire, and the protagonist's group followed along.
Arriving near the mining area, they learned that the Wanderer and the miners had clashed over a large mineral vein, but suddenly a robot faction had taken over the vein, and Oleg was currently handling the situation.
As they ventured deeper into the mines, Clara finally appeared in the story!
Clara: "Mr. Svarog, look—such a big vein. Clara has never seen so much Geomarrow..."
The moment Clara appeared with her white hair and red eyes, the audience erupted!
"Ahhh, it's Clara!"
"So cute!"
"Holy crap! Jade... jade feet!"
"Oh my god! How can such a coincidence exist? Clara has jade feet, and I have a mouth!"
"Aiya, it's so cold out. How can Clara walk barefoot on the ground? So dirty. Let Brother wipe them clean for you!"
"Excellent jade feet, making my tongue spin!"
"Aren't you guys being a bit too pervy?"
"Aren't you afraid Svarog will send you flying?"
"Clara Protection Association reminds you: the internet is not a lawless place!"
"Speaking of which, doesn't anyone like Svarog? I think Svarog is kinda hot!"
"From a human perspective, Svarog is probably only wearing a coat, right? Nothing underneath!"
"Those streamlined curves and wheel axles, the occasional leaking oil, and the battle scars on the shell—so hot!"
"The machine spirit is pleased!"
"Mr. Svarog, you don't want Clara to get hurt, do you?"
"You guys are going too far!"
"Uh... isn't this a bit..."
"Humans can't, or at least shouldn't..."
"Star Rail · Welt · Phone.jpg"
"Although people's fetishes are free, I still suggest you see a doctor!"
"Damn, which degenerate said they wanted to drink Svarog's oil?"
Even Lao Mu was left speechless by these lunatics.
In the story, Clara had called Svarog to control the situation to prevent conflict between the miners and the Wanderer, but this wasn't a long-term solution.
By the time Seele and the others arrived, Svarog had already left with Clara, citing the need to guard the furnace core.
After meeting Oleg, he said he didn't know the Stellaron's whereabouts either, but Svarog might know something. The group then decided to rest before heading to Svarog's territory.
The middle part of the story involved Bronya living in the Underworld, experiencing the lives of the people there firsthand, which changed her thinking.
Then she happened to meet Clara searching for medicine for the Wanderer, and eventually convinced Clara to lead the group to negotiate with Svarog.
But clearly, in Svarog's programming, any contact with the Stellaron would have severe consequences. The negotiation broke down, and a fight ensued.
After a battle with Svarog, the story cut to an animation. Svarog lay paralyzed on the ground, and just as Natasha was about to fire a shot to take him down, Clara's small figure stepped in front of Svarog, spreading her arms and pleading.
"W-wait! Please don't hurt Mr. Svarog!"
Her face was flushed with anxiety, and tears mingled in her eyes as she looked at the group, making the audience's hearts ache.
"Clara is so cute! So brave!"
"I'm such a jerk for making Clara cry!"
"You young folks have no martial virtue, ganging up on Svarog, a few-hundred-year-old man!"
"Bullshit, you were the one fighting the hardest!"
"I'll protect Svarog!"
"Clara, you don't want Svarog to get hurt, do you?"
"Galaxy Ranger! Report your coordinates up there!"
Chapter 32: Irreplaceable Thing
In the story, with Clara's intervention, both sides temporarily cease fighting.
Clara: "Mr. Svarog... please don't push yourself anymore. Can you tell everyone what you know?"
"Mr. Svarog once said you'd be willing to fulfill every wish of mine, right? Clara's biggest wish right now is for everyone to unite, like... like a family."
"Over this past time, Clara learned something—the results you get don't always bring happiness to everyone."
"Even knowing the world outside the cage isn't all that wonderful... people still want to stick their heads out and take a look."
Hearing Clara's heartfelt persuasion, Svarog paused for a moment and actually began to reassess whether to disclose the Stellaron's information to them.
"Wah wah wah, Svarog spoils Clara way too much!"
"He wouldn't say a word even when beaten half to pieces—confirmed, Svarog's a total daughter-con!"
"Spoil her, spoil her hard! That's what I love to see!"
"Who could ever refuse Clara's request!"
"It's a promise, not an order!"
"Hey, have you guys seen Clara's Signature Light Cone description? It's really pretty!"
Seeing a bullet comment about Clara's Light Cone drift by, Lao Mu grew curious and opened the archive to check it out.
Five-star Destruction Light Cone—Irreplaceable Thing.
In the scene on the Light Cone, Svarog's large hand lifted Clara high into the air, her pure smile seemingly able to heal one's soul, making the viewers couldn't help but smile warmly.
But when they saw the Light Cone's description, the smiles on their faces instantly froze.
[Svarog, if one day I'm gone too, I'm entrusting this database to you.]
[(Who... why is there a recording like this in my logs...)]
[Svarog, do you have anything you think is irreplaceable?]
[(Irreplaceable... broken parts... just replace them...)]
[Svarog, one day you'll find it.]
[(That kind of thing... it'll only be a hassle...)]
[When that time comes... leave this place.]
Judging by the Light Cone's description, it seemed someone had left, and Svarog discovered a recording in his logs left by an unknown person!
Just a few short lines of description sent countless viewers into despair!
"Holy crap, is this a lifespan trope? Don't come at me!"
"Judging by the description, could this be Clara?!"
"No! Don't say anymore!"
"Irreplaceable thing—I've already found it. It's you, Clara!"
"It hurts, it hurts so much!"
"How does this game hide knives in Light Cones too?!"
"This must be left by the person who made Svarog, definitely not Clara—Svarog wouldn't forget Clara!"
"Right, the Light Cone art is so beautiful! It can't be Clara!"
"And Clara always calls him Mr. Svarog, so that voice definitely isn't hers!"
After some reasoning, the viewers also felt the voice's owner in the description wasn't Clara, and they all breathed a sigh of relief.
"Bull demon, who said the Light Cone description was nice to look at? Stick your head over here, I'll add some BUFF for you!"
After the interlude, Lao Mu continued the story. Svarog opened the memory bank's permissions, and that history of decay and burning began to unfold before everyone.
As early as the era of the second Supreme Guardian, Svetlana Land, it was already clear that the Stellaron was the root of all disasters.
It was the first Supreme Guardian, Alisa Land, who, to resist the ever-encroaching Anti-Matter Legion, made a wish to the Stellaron to bring down the Eternal Freeze and freeze everything.
The Eternal Freeze, which constantly compressed the living space of Belobog's people, was actually caused by the first Supreme Guardian's own hand.
Unless the Stellaron could be removed and the Eternal Freeze resolved, once this news was made public, Belobog would likely face chaos!
"So... that's how it was?"
Pela looked at the historical truth revealed in the story, her face full of shock.
As a resident of Belobog, the education she'd received since childhood was that the first Supreme Guardian had protected Belobog from the Anti-Matter Legion.
But the disappearance of the Anti-Matter Legion meant the arrival of the Eternal Freeze!
The Eternal Freeze pressing in on reality was far more despair-inducing than the Anti-Matter Legion in history books!
If this true history emerged before the Eternal Freeze vanished, the consequences...
A hand rested on Pela's shoulder, and Seele spoke up.
"So, back then I also thought it was right to conceal this history. Sometimes people just need a hope, even if that hope is nothing more than the moon reflected in water—it can still give them the drive to move forward."
The barrage was also buzzing with discussion about the plot.
"The Eternal Freeze that keeps spreading was actually brought by the first Supreme Guardian herself. If the people of Belobog found out, the sky would fall!"
"There's no helping it either. The Anti-Matter Legion—which planet that gets targeted doesn't end up completely annihilated?"
"Yeah, and on top of that, this planet's civilization and technology aren't advanced. Being able to stall for a few hundred years with the Stellaron is already pretty good."
"Sigh, Destruction!"
"Sigh, Stellaron!"
"Fuck it, let's fight Nanook!"
After learning the truth behind the Stellaron's history, only one question remained: why did Cocolia's personality change so drastically?
The hidden truth slammed into Bronya's mind, leaving her dazed. Seele said it was time to make a decision.
While waiting, Lao Mu watched the interaction between Clara and Svarog.
Clara: "Is the memory module damaged? Clara wants to help as much as she can."
Svarog: "Memory module retrieval initiated... Records from the Builder mechanical era complete... Records of Clara creating the mini magnetic drill complete... Records of Clara explaining human behavior complete..."
Clara: "S-so, the memory module should be fine now?"
Svarog: "Records related to Clara have already been backed up. No need to worry."
Clara: "...Records related to that too?"
Svarog: "Multiple backups have been made. They can be retrieved at any time."
Clara: "...Mr. Svarog, can I... delete some of them..."
Svarog: "Request denied. All memories related to Clara are important data and must be preserved intact. To Svarog, these are the memories of family."
