These five people occupied most of the middle of the canvas's left side. Yu Xunge left blank space above and below them—a narrow strip at the top, less than a palm wide, while the empty space below took up a third of the canvas.

The young Maple Sugar and Feng Cang both looked toward the far left of the canvas, watching Su Yitong being reborn. Only Feng Ran propped up her chin and looked overhead at the undead mentor.
Her paintbrush dipped into the paint and returned to the Alchemy Shop.
