At the end of the Star Bridge stood two taverns with utterly different styles, barely ten meters apart, yet their entrances faced opposite directions, one left and one right. Both taverns had their back doors sealed shut. From a distance, they looked like two people standing back-to-back after an argument.
Yu Xunge flew her children's boat through the night sky outside the taverns without rashly heading inside.
The ultra-miniature Tulan, whom she had forcibly dragged into the passenger seat, asked quietly, "Which one are you going to?"
Though this was their first visit, Yu Xunge and Tulan both knew about the divide between the gods and demons. The divide was so great that the two sides had split into separate factions, and the two taverns below naturally belonged to different factions.
Their decor alone gave no indication of which was which. Both had distinctive styles and occupied roughly the same amount of space, making their affiliations impossible to distinguish.
But since King had not specified which tavern she had to steal liquor from, Yu Xunge planned to go to whichever was less crowded.
Holding the Ship's Wheel, Yu Xunge approached cautiously. Although Hunting Mode could prevent prey from discovering her, King had also warned her, "Don't go too fast. Even if you can't be 'seen,' you'll still put your prey on alert."
King had provided a precise figure for what counted as "too fast": "Anything over one meter per second is fast."
At first, she had thought an hour would be more than enough, but after learning this, she felt an hour might not quite suffice.
Yu Xunge made a small partial circuit through the air, first hovering outside the tavern on the left. She found it almost completely full, and through the window, she even spotted Captain and Drummer.
