Inside White Tiger Madam's room, sandalwood incense curled through the air, yet it could not dispel the gloom about to descend.

Dai Hao entered directly with Tang San, his expression grim.

At that moment, Dai Huabin was sitting by the bed, carefully tending to his mother. Seeing his father suddenly enter with Tang San, he hurriedly rose to greet him, his tone somewhat ingratiating. "Father, you're here? Mother was just talking about you."

Dai Hao merely nodded coldly, his gaze passing over Dai Huabin as he walked straight to the bedside.

He seized White Tiger Madam by the shoulders and forcibly hauled her up. His knuckles turned white from the force, and his voice was icy and piercing. "Answer me honestly. Have you been hiding something from me all this time?"

"What are you talking about, Dai Hao?" White Tiger Madam was startled by his sudden action, her eyes full of confusion. She could not understand why Dai Hao was asking such a question now, much less why he was so furious.

Seeing his wife still wearing such a bewildered expression, Dai Hao's rage only grew, and he stopped wasting words.

He pulled out the letter Huo Yun'er had left behind and slammed it viciously onto the edge of the bed before White Tiger Madam. His voice exploded like thunder. "Huo Yun'er! Did she give birth to a pair of twins, a boy and a girl, for me?!"

The instant those words left his mouth, the air in the room froze, plunging into an eerie silence.

Standing to one side, Dai Huabin's smile stiffened.

White Tiger Madam's face instantly turned deathly pale. She fell silent for a long while, then suddenly shook her head, her voice trembling slightly. "Dai Hao, I have no idea what you're talking about! I did
