• Tian Mucheng learned that his Dragon Soul reacted strongly to Zhang Lexuan and discovered a letter linking his guardian to her family, but chose not to seek her help.
• Tian Mucheng created Mo Yan and sent Jin Tianming to the Sun Moon Empire, where Jin impressed Jing Hongchen and negotiated for Soul Tools and powerful rewards.
• Tian Mucheng transformed Dugu Yan and Dugu Luo with his Dragon Soul, then learned that pursuing fate would expose him to beings in the heavens.

The arc leaves Mo Yan and Dugu Luo settled at Shrek as the academy tries to recruit them, with Tian Mucheng preparing for an inevitable clash.

• Dragon Soul extracted Tang San’s divine soul, refined him into a treasure orb, and captured the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King to serve Tian Mucheng.

• Jin Tianming uncovered a royal-family leak, and Moxie killed the informants and sent their heads to Xu Tianyu’s residence as a warning.
• Ju Zi joined a masked woman’s side after being promised help in destroying the White Tiger Duke, while Jin Tianming turned to developing Communication Soul Tool 2.0.
• Mo Yan and Dugu Luo defied Zhou Yi’s orders, and Du Wilun suspended Zhou Yi after Mo Yan demanded her removal.
• Yan Shao Zhe urged Ma Xiaotao to seek Mo Yan’s help with her Evil Fire, while Mo Yan and Dugu Luo rejected the academy’s efforts to bind them to its tournament plans.

Mo Yan and Jin Tianming faced off indirectly as Shrek and Sun Moon Academy advanced through the tournament, while Mo Yan’s clash with the Heavenly Soul royal family forced Shrek to offer compensation to keep her from leaving. The final began with Wang Wei and Zhang Lexuan drawn for the opening individual match, as Jin Tianming waited as Sun Moon’s reserve.

• Mu En reprimanded Xuan Zi, and Yan Shao Zhe selected Mo Yan and Dugu Luo for Shrek’s reserve team before assigning Zhang Lexuan to train them.
